One full pump of epoxy resin to one full pump of hardener.EASY TO CLEAN, REUSABLE
Store with pumps on bottles or clean pumps and reuse.Take the guesswork out of measuring epoxy resin and hardener, and get a reliable cure every time.
No need to worry whether your batch of epoxy has the exact resin to hardener ratio. TotalBoat pumps are calibrated to dispense the appropriate 2:1 mix ratio easily and automatically — with a single pump. That means one full pump stroke of resin yields 2 parts, and one full pump stroke of hardener for one part hardener.
The pump heads are easy to identify so you don’t mix them up: simply attach the pump with the white pump head to your 2:1 epoxy resin container, and the pump with the white pump head with black 2:1 dot to the hardener container. No messes, no guesses.
Note: Our 2:1 Epoxy Pumps are intended for use only with TotalBoat High Performance 2:1 Epoxy Resin and 2:1 Hardener containers, and TotalBoat Penetrating Epoxy Resin & Hardeners. They should not be used with, and will not fit other brands’ containers.
- Pumps are calibrated to dispense the exact 2:1 ratio automatically
- The epoxy resin pump has a white pump head; the hardener pump has a white pump head with a black dot indicating the 2:1 mix ratio
- Simply replace the cap on each product with its respective pump, and prime each pump before dispensing
- Pumps are for use with the TotalBoat 2:1 High Performance Epoxy System and TotalBoat Penetrating Epoxy Resin & Hardener and Cold Weather Penetrating Epoxy Resin & Hardener
- When a container is empty, you can transfer and reuse its pump in a new container of the same product

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
-
Which epoxy system do these pumps fit?
TotalBoat 2:1 Epoxy Pumps are designed for use with TotalBoat 2:1 High-Performance Epoxy Resin/Hardener and TotalBoat Penetrating Epoxy Resin/Hardener. Do not use these pumps with any other epoxy resin system, as they are not compatible. -
How many pumps of resin and hardener do I need?
Pumps are designed to automatically dispense the appropriate 2:1 mix ratio, so you only need to dispense one pump of resin to one pump of hardener. Do not use two pumps of resin to one pump hardener; doing so will result in the wrong ratio and improper cure. -
Which pump goes on the resin and which pump goes on the hardener?
The pump with the white pump head is for TotalBoat 2:1 epoxy resins and the pump with the white pump head/black 2:1 dot is for TotalBoat 2:1 epoxy hardeners. Do not use these pumps with TotalBoat ThickSet Fathom Epoxy. -
Are pumps reusable?
Yes, if properly cleaned and stored, pumps can be reused. -
Do these epoxy pumps need to be trimmed to fit smaller containers?
Yes. The initial length is to be used with gallon containers only. Pumps include detailed instructions for trimming to fit smaller size A containers. -
Do pumps need to be primed before use?
Yes. Prime the pumps by pushing down and releasing the head of each pump several times until you get a steady stream of liquid without any air pockets. -
How do I use these epoxy pumps?
After the initial setup and priming of the pumps, dispense the resin and hardener into a clean container. For every one full pump of resin, dispense one full pump of hardener. Mix for 2-3 minutes while scraping the sides to blend completely. For step-by-step instructions refer to our datasheets for Penetrating Epoxy and High-Performance Epoxy. -
How do you clean the pumps?
To clean pumps, flush with hot water, followed with a solvent, lacquer thinner, acetone, or denatured alcohol. -
Can you leave the pumps attached to resin and hardener containers, or do you need to remove them after every use?
You can leave the pumps attached to the containers while in storage. Store the resin and hardener in a dry location at room temperature. After a while, pumps may need to be re-primed. -
Will leaving the pumps on the containers cause epoxy to go bad?
No, it shouldn’t. The pumps keep the containers air-tight, but you may have to follow the priming procedure again if it is not used for a while. -
Do these pumps fit the size A quart containers?
Yes, but the pumps must be trimmed by 3-7/8″ to fit properly.
